Where is Dickerman Park?

If you are like many residents of St. Paul, you have probably never have heard of Dickerman Park.  Even if you drive by it you would probably never know it was a park.  The City of St. Paul, motto "The most livable city in America", over the years looked a blind eye toward the park, allowing to to be paved, fenced in, and even let businesses sell Christmas trees there (along with porta-potties and a heated dwelling).

In researching Dickerman Park, I surprisingly found that the City of St. Paul does acknowledge its existence.  At least in a map from 1979.

This one is a little easier to see, but required some photoshop.

Google Maps as of 2/1/14 shows Dickerman Park as about 1/4 of actual size.

Bing Maps as of 2/1/14 calls it out, but accurately reflects the lack of green space.

Oh, Apple Maps.

If you want to visit Dickerman Park in St. Paul Minnesota, to play frisbee in a parking lot, be sure you have a proper map.
